The Afla-OtaCLEAN columns are available in the practical 3 mL polypropylene format, which has significant handling advantages over columns with a smaller inner diameter. The column bed consists of a soft-gel, separated by frits to ensure highest recoveries for both toxin types, which is covered by a storage buffer. The storage buffer contains a preservative. Afla-OtaCLEAN was developed for the sample preparation within the food analysis via HPLC with fluorescence detection and LC-MS, respectively.

Asbestos Inspection Cabinet is a HEPA filtered ductless safety cabinet which provides operator protection from fibres and articles.
Bigneat’s BA cabinet has excellent access through tear drops in the front panel to the cabinet interior for manipulation of the contained microscope and sample slides.
The lower panel is supplied with an aperture to accept a microscope eye piece. This will be cut to suit individual requirements prior to delivery. Cabinet may be placed onto an existing work surface or supplied with its own support stand/mobile bench. The mobile bench with castors makes the cabinet portable.
BA cabinets are available in two cabinet widths; 800 and 1000mm.
Bigneat’s BA Asbestos Inspection Cabinet is manufactured to a very high standard using only the best quality materials. The fan housing is manufactured from mild steel and is finished with an epoxy white coating. The enclosure is frameless, fabricated from optically clear acrylic which is UV stable, chemically resistant and easy to clean. A services port with a cover is provided in each side panel.
Air is drawn through the apertures in the front of the cabinet and upwards into the filtration system, clean air is returned to the room.
The cabinet is designed to operate at a minimum face velocity of 0.5 m/s which is manually adjustable. An LCD air flow indicator is supplied to provide readout of flow rate. Double hinged panels facilitate easy access to cabinet interior for cleaning and loading.

The ADC 2 offers convenience, safety, and reproducibility for isocratic developments of 20 x 10 cm HPTLC glass plates in full compliance with Ph. Eur. Chapter 2.8.25 and USP Chapter <203>.
The ADC 2 is a device for reproducible plate development. It performs the development step fully automated, and independent of environmental effects. The activity and pre-conditioning of the layer, chamber saturation, developing distance and final drying can be preset and automatically monitored by the ADC 2. Two modes of operation are possible: stand-alone with input of parameters via keypad, or remote operation from visionCATS with process monitoring, documentation of operating parameters, and reporting.
With visionCATS the ADC 2 can be IQ/OQ qualified and used in a cGMP environment. Operated with the mentioned software, the ADC 2 supports compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
The ATS 4 is a device for fully automated sample application onto TLC and HPTLC plates. Samples can be applied as bands, spots or rectangles.
Automatic sample application is a key factor for productivity of the HPTLC laboratory. The ATS 4 offers fully automatic sample application for qualitative and quantitative analyses as well as for preparative separations. It is suited for routine use and high sample throughput.
After a long development, BCON’s very first own product is a fact: The BCON LTU is almost available! The LTU (Leaching Test Unit) has been specially developed for leaching tests: the so-called column tests. But what exactly does leaching testing entail and how can our LTU make your laboratory work easier?
With leaching testing, water is continuously pumped over a soil sample at a low flow. The fractions that are subsequently collected must be weighed regularly to check whether the pumped volume actually comes out of the column. This can be an intensive and time-consuming task.
BCON has therefore now developed a fully automatic machine that can collect up to 7 fractions based on weight! The BCON LTU uses liquid valves, which automatically switch to the next fraction when a fraction is completed. In other words: manually checking the fractions is a thing of the past thanks to the BCON LTU!
Do you want to be the first to use the BCON LTU in your laboratory? Or do you simply want more information about this fully automatic leaching test unit? Then feel free to contact us without obligation. We are more than happy to provide you with the information you are looking for.

LCTech columns are ready-to-use. DEXTech 16, DEXTech Pure, DEXTech Plus and DEXTech Heat are designed with a 3-column setup using an acidic silica column (pos. 1), an aluminium-oxide or florisil column (pos. 2), or a carbon column (pos. 3). Simply click in the respective columns in the column tower- “just click it”. Afterwards a patented mechanism of the system automatically locks the tower. No screw connections, no tools, no other manual steps. From sample to sample – fast, flexible, effortless.
Position 1: Universal or SMART Column
Depending on the individual requirements, matrix or desired method, each dioxin-system of the DEXTech product family can be equipped with different ready-to-use column setups:
Universal Column:
SMART Column:
Easy change between Universal and SMART column by using the adapter.
Position 2: Aluminium-Oxide or Florisil Column
Position 3: Carbon Column
D-EVA (Dioxin-Evaporation) is a brilliant solution for fast, parallel, and reproducible evaporation of 1 – 26 samples. The number of samples to be processed in the rotor is irrelevant in this regard. The system concentrates your samples with vacuum and energy supply via light to a low volume and reliable prevents evaporation to dryness due to a special LCTech sensor.
Automatic Stop for Unattended Processing
The LCTech sensor allows reliable evaporation nearly to dryness or as usually to a final volume of 30 to 100 µL for the PCDD/F-Fraction (F2) or a final volume of 300 to 500 µL for the PCB-Fraction (F1). Even with rinsing, the subsequent transfer into the insert of a GC-vial is possible. Due to design and the special technology, memory effect that would lead to unwanted further evaporation after the system has been switched off, is reliable excluded.
A compact, versatile, quick and robust scanner with minimal cabling.
The Ziath DataPaq™ Cube Rack Reader is a 2D datamatrix tube camera reader with a scan & decode time of 1-2 seconds on a ‘normal’ computer. The Cube can read all racks on the market including Cryoboxes and SBS racks; even 384 racks.
The DataPaq™ Cube Rack Reader is easy to set-up, and can be ready to use only a few minutes after taking it out of the box. The rack reader arrives fully calibrated and is ready to read all makes of SBS format and Cryobox 2D barcoded racks and tubes. Our patented DataPaq™ Cube is a camera-based instrument and is significantly quicker than scanner-based 2D barcode readers: just one second and you can load the next rack! Our DataPaq™ software makes it simple to export data to Excel, XML or text, and scanned images can also be saved. The DataPaq™ software can connect with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres and other databases.
The DataPaq™ software is designed and written in-house at Ziath. Decoding 2D barcodes is achieved using our own algorithm which we specifically developed for ‘tube sized’ codes It is not a global, generic “off-the-shelf” algorithm that was designed to read a barcode in a supermarket. DataPaq™ displays the results of the scan and can identify the difference between a correctly scanned tube (green), a damaged tube (red) and missing tube (grey). Also, any tube image can be clicked on and the individual scan is shown (on the right hand side) with the tube location and barcode.
The formation of condensation on the instrument window whilst scanning tubes straight from cryogenic storage is a well known problem. Ziath’s Cryoprotection™ is a special coating that eliminates the condensation and ensures uninterrupted scanning. Ziath’s method for eliminating condensation uses no extra electrical components, resulting in no risk of accidentally thawing your samples, increased reliability and ensuring that the cost of this option is at acceptable levels.
