  • 16 Mycotoxins at One Go

    The CrossTOX® columns allow a highly efficient sample clean-up of regulated and expected mycotoxins. At the same time they improve the conventional dilute-and-shoot application by a QuEChERS based process.

    A specially adapted sorbent guarantees high depletion even with difficult matrices. With CrossTOX® grain-based matrices as well as nuts, dried fruits and spices can be processed with excellent results. The loading capacity is 3 mL (corresponds to 0.6 g matrix).

  • Especially for the purifiication of ochratoxin A in food and feed, LCTech developed the immunoaffinity columns OtaCLEAN and OtaCLEAN SMART. The columns guarantee best results even at difficult matrices. The columns possess a very high matrix tolerance and are able to bind ochratoxin A highly specific. The columns are suitable for the manual processing and for fully automated processing.

    The columns are available in a practical 3 mL polypropylene format. A big advantage of the columns is their long shelf life of 24 months even when stored at room temperature without compromising its high quality.

  • The multi-channel pump type Tower II consists of 2-9 pump modules in a tower case with a built-in control panel. The unit is operated either by this control panel or by PC based systems.

  • The Rapid_pH is a robotic Laboratory pH meter for testing pH in microplates, tubes and vials so it reduces the time and tedium associated with manual pH measurement in the lab. Manual use of Laboratory pH meters typically requires endless rinsing, drying, immersing, waiting for stabilization and recording of the result.  The Rapid_pH makes your life so much easier by completely automating all of these steps.     Benchtop pH Meter for pH Testing of Large Sample Sets While Reducing Volumes

    This automated pH meter will increase your pH testing throughput while working on other tasks. This small benchtop pH meter automatically rinses the pH probe in DI water, blow dries the probe then reads the pH sample and repeats the cycle. Fresh DI water is cycled into the wash well in between pH reads. When finished, the Rapid_pH moves the pH probe to a storage tube containing KCL. pH sample volumes can be as small as 75 ul in half area 96 well microplates. measure pH samples with volumes of 200 ul in a standard 96 well microplate. Larger pH sample volumes are not a problem in deep well microplates, vials or tubes. The Rapid-pH with a heating nest heats samples up to 50c and provides temperature compensation. CFR 21 Part 11 Compliance software are available.

    The Rapid_pH software is intuitive so it is easy to calibrate the pH meter and then run your pH samples with minimal training.  The Rapid_pH software allows you to import data about your sample sets and export the pH results. The pH meter calibration screen is shown below.  Simply select the type of plate you are using, enter the standards (any number of repetitions is supported), and press the play button.


    pH samples are run from a similar screen so in this case, the user picks the microplate format, then either manually selects the wells to be read or imports the data from a saved file that the user creates.  A pH sample set can be run in row or column order. The Rapid_pH used Mettler Toledo InLab Micro Probes. It is not compatible with HANNA pH probes or Thermo Fisher pH probes.

  • Rapidos® is an alpha track detector which can be used for short term measurement between 5 and 10 days, also highly sensitive and environmental measurements. The exceptionally large range of this detector allows measurements of radon levels from as low as 60 Bq/m3 to as high as 150,000 Bq/m3 during a 7 day period. The detector consists of a film element  located within a pod made from a special antistatic plastic which allows  radon gas to enter  by diffusion. Analysis is performed using a state-of-the-art image scanner.

  • The RapidPick MP 20 pin colony picker software is the fastest, most accurate automated colony picking system in the world.  The average inoculation rates of the MP are over 99%. The major competitors use batch picking so that there is a delay in placing colonies into the destination plate. The delay may weaken E. coli  or other bacterial colonies or cause death.


    This microbial colony picker’s small footprint saves lab space and easily fits into anaerobic chambers and biosafety hoods. The typical colony picking rate is around 2,400 colonies per hour.     The RapidPick MP is intended for researchers who need the accuracy and high outgrowth rates, but whose workload doesn’t require the added automation available in the other versions of the RapidPick.


    When using the RapidPick MP, users can manually load a colony plate and a media-filled target plate, then start the automated picking through an easy operator interface on the instrument’s control computer.  Hudson’s RapidPick  designed to pick from  petri dishes,  Nunc™ Omnitray ™  or any SBS plates, including: 1, 6, 8, 24, 48 and 96-well plates.  They will inoculate SBS 1, 24, 96, 384, 1536 deepwell and standard height microplates.  The MP includes barcode scanners to identify barcodes on each of the source colony plate and the target growth plate, if the user’s plates are barcoded.  Then, the transfer data is saved using these barcodes to identify the resulting picked colonies.  If the user’s plates are not barcoded, the data will be saved in sequential order. With the optional 2nd destination plate the user can create both an assay plate and an archive plate. Optional fluorescence detection and zone of exclusion bacterial colony detection is available.
