Rapidos® is an alpha track detector which can be used for short term measurement between 5 and 10 days, also highly sensitive and environmental measurements. The exceptionally large range of this detector allows measurements of radon levels from as low as 60 Bq/m³ to as high as 150,000 Bq/m³ during a 7 day period. The detector consists of a film element  located within a pod made from a special antistatic plastic which allows  radon gas to enter  by diffusion. Analysis is performed using a state-of-the-art image scanner.
