The HPLC Direct Injection module enables the complete automation from raw extract to chromatogram without any manual working step and with excellent results at the same time. Without the need for supervision, samples can be processed during the night or even at the weekend and the finished chromatograms are available the very next morning.

The sample preparation is done via the SPE module (Solid Phase Extraction), via the SPE module with online EVAporation or via the GPC module (Gel Permeation Chromatography) and the EVAporation module. The HPLC Direct Injection module can also be used after a solvent exchange with the EVAporation module.

Afterwards the finished samples are injected into the HPLC by sample loop overfilling. The injection volume can be parametrised. The filling of further aliquots of the sample is also possible. No additional HPLC autosampler is required when using the HPLC Direct Injection module; this function is taking over by the FREESTYLE system that is compatible with any HPLC instrument.

Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, and Safe: QuEChERS, the most widely used method for pesticide residue analysis in food and feed laboratories. With the QuEChERS method à la LCTech you can automate the sample clean-up of your pesticide analysis with exactly these characteristics.

Less manual work in combination with a high clean-up efficiency makes the new method even more straightforward than the conventional QuEChERS method. Especially with an on-line connection to the LC-MS/MS system and the clean-up step synchronized with it’s runtime, overlapping of the process and this a perfect sample throughput is achieved. Furthermore, the sample that you measure with a GC-MS/MS system also benefit from the efficient clean-up.

There is a large variety of vials, bottles and other containers, which are used in laboratories around the world – the choice of racks is equally large to cater for all container sizes. This shows the great flexibility of the FREESTYLE system. It offers no clearly defined robotic platform, instead, the user can compose his own „ robotic platform” at any time, which is in line with the sample sequence to be processed and the accordingly selected method.

All racks are already integrated in the system software, such that this software-based routine procedure only takes a few seconds to carry out. You find our most common racks and the frames needed in the table below. You will get to pictures of the products by clicking the respective article number. We will be pleased to support you in the selection of the required racks.

The FREESTYLE SPE has unique possibilities for sample preparation using solid phase extraction (SPE). Each manual SPE method which has already proven of value in the laboratory can be automated in a quick and easy manner. The application fields are wide: from mycotoxin and environmental analysis up to forensic applications and samples of doping control. The most important feature of the FREESTYLE SPE module is the solid connection of the SPE column with the robotic arm that grippes the SPE- columns air and liquid tight.

The FREESTYLE software is included in the basic price of the system and will be continually developed. Updates as well as upgrades are always free of charge.

In water analysis large-volume samples often have to be handled. The robotic system FREESTYLE XANA has been specifically developed for sample preparation of large-volume water samples, for example of drinking water, raw water or river water.

With a positive pressure of up to 4 bar during loading, samples with suspended matter in many cases can also be pushed through the SPE columns. Without the need for supervision, the system processes samples reliably over 24 hours and 7 days / week through all stages beginning with the raw sample up to filling into GC vials.

The FREESTYLE XANA can handle volumes op to 10 Liters.

The FREESTYLE XANA PFAS TableTop is well-prepared for the requirements relating to PFAS. The analytical challenges are overcome by replacing all PTFE-containing components with blank value-free materials, such as PE and PP. This enables method-compliant sample processing according to US EPA standards (e.g. 537.1, 533, 1633) and DIN 38407-42 without producing blank values.

Large volumes are not absolutely necessary in order to analyse PFAS in water. As a result, the large bottle rack of the XANA is not needed in some cases. By downscaling the bottle rack, it can now be easily transferred to the FREESTYLE, saving a huge amount of space.

    Sophisticated Features

Via a special mechanism, Falcon tubes are also transferred into the processing station as eluate containers. This enables the elution solvent to be transferred efficiently and in a standard-compliant manner from the sample bottle into the Falcon tube via the SPE column.

    Elufix Ready-To-Use Glass Columns:

As highly selective adsorbent Florisil® is broadly used in preparative and analytical chromatography: for the clean-up of pesticide residues, for the isolation of antibiotics and alkaloids, for vitamin assays, etc.

The Elufix columns by LCTech are optionally filled with 1 g, 2 g, 4 g, or 10 g activated Florisil® and 1 g or 2 g anhydrous sodium sulfate. The use of inert materials like glass or PTFE excludes interactions with the analytes as well as contaminations. LCTech checks each Florisil® lot to quality and documents the result in an added certificate according to the ISO method.

The columns are ready-to-use: simply take them out of the packaging and employ them. No more laborious cleaning or filling of own columns neither cumbersome storage of single components. The columns are delivered in stripes and shrink-wrapped air- and steam-tight and thus can be stocked almost indefinitely.

    Advantages at a glance:

    • A large drain outlet guarantees a throughput, which is consistent with the method
    • LCTech recommends reusable adapters for luer connections
    • Flexibly usable, e.g. for H53-method
    • Excellent performance

The MIX-Traction – LCTech’s powerful shaker is perfectly suited forall kinds of mixing, extracting, dissolving andemulsifying.

    Quality from the very beginning.

    • Powerful vertical shaking, replaces shaking by hand
    • Touch screen for convenient operation
    • Time and shaking speed settings
    • Space and energy saving
    • For use with QuEChERS, QuEChERSER, QuPPe and other mixing, extracting, dissolving and emulsifying applications.

Shaking by hand, e.g. in QuEChERS applications, is time-and labour consuming. The shaking can be replaced one-to-one with the MIX-TRACTION – QuEChERS Shaker. This gives you not only the same good extraction results, it ensures that all samples are shaken under identical conditions. It allows you to have more time for other important tasks in the lab. The powerful motor allows gentle shaking to violent agitation with shaking speeds of up to 1200 rpm. Which is enough for all of your desired applications. The durable shaker impresses with its minimal vibrations and low noise level during operation. Shaking time and speed are set conveniently and clearly via the touch screen. If needed, without any time limits. The operation of the shaker is extremely easy and convenient. Open the cover, pull the bracket back and insert the centrifugation tubes. Close the cover and use the touch display to set the desired parameters and start.

In addition to the wide spectrum of columns for mycotoxin analysis, LCTech offers columns for Solid Phase Extraction (SPE).

In analytical laboratories, samples are commonly cleaned via SPE columns in order to obtain clean solutions for subsequent analysis or to concentrate the analyte. A multitude of available SPE columns are made of plastic. This type of column cannot be used for all applications due to interactions with the analyte or release of impurities from the synthetic material.

LCTech offers glass columns (unfilled or filled and in different sizes) for these applications and also supplies the appurtenant inert accessories, such as stainless steel needles, glass fiber filters, and caps.

Additionally, LCTech developed the affinity column BioteX for biotin / vitamin B7 analysis in the framework of vitamin analysis.

Biotin is a naturally occurring vitamin that belongs to the family of B vitamins (B7) and is one of the water-soluble vitamins.

It can be found ubiquitously in many foods. Egg yolk, soybeans and liver are amongst the foods that are high in biotin content. The biotin concentration supports a vitamin-rich diet and is consequently found in many vitamin drinks, vitamin tablets or food supplements.
